Activism for Amateurs: LIVE Jam! w/ Salar Nader and local UCI Students by activismforamateurs
On May 12, 2011 at 8AM, Activism for Amateurs hosted the world famous tabla player and musician Salar Nader. Salar is known for his music in Afghanistan and all over the world, and he invited local artists to have a LIVE in-studio jam session with him on the show. Local guest musicians are Sandro and Tamara, Walker Davis, Christopher Lavendar, and Joe Michael Knox. A special thank you to the Afghanistan Development Project for making this musical jam union possible!

CALLING ALL MUSICIANS! Next week on Thursday morning May 12 at 8AM, Activism for Amateurs will be hosting the internationally known Salar Nadar, world-famous Tabla player. Salar is a composer/virtuoso of the Afghan Ruhab and co-creator of Sounds & Rhythm of Afghanistan.
